Kai got her degree in Honors Legal Communications at Howard University where she won Top Conference Research Presenter for Thesis on Critical Race Theory. Granddaughter and Niece of renowned activist and Civil Rights leaders Oretha Castle Haley, Lombard v. Louisiana, Richard Haley, and Gene Castle. She is starting her legal studies in the Fall.
